Stella Futura was in Almedalen for meetings and two live recordings of Futurapodden, and also hosted a Battery Mingle - Almedalen's first - for important stakeholders.
On Tuesday, June 25th, two episodes of Futurapodden were recorded live on Almedalen's podcast stage at Gotlands Bryggeri in Visby. Ulrika Tornerefelt and Per Schlingmann met Sezgin Kadir, President and CEO of Kraftringen and Chairman of Energiföretagen in Sweden, in a conversation about competence challenges in the industry and increasing customer focus within the energy sector. Later in the day, digital twins and how they can accelerate the energy transition were discussed together with Åsa Zetterberg, CEO of TechSverige, and Daniel Dersén, VP Growth at The Swedish Internet Foundation.
Stella Futura's Battery Mingle – Almedalen's first – on Tuesday evening brought together many players in the energy industry and other important stakeholders for discussions about the rapidly growing need for batteries in the green energy transition. The discussions focused on diversified value creation from these critical assets, the need for new financing models for battery systems, and how policy can support the deployment of more decentralized energy infrastructure.
During the mingle, Jonas Jonsson, co-founder of Stella Futura, also made a live demo of our digital twin Libra.
Lucas from the cocktail bar Vår Fru in Visby was on site to mix battery drinks for all the guests.
Many thanks to everyone who participated in our pods and mingle, and we wish you a really nice summer! We look forward to seeing you again in August and accelerating ongoing collaborations and resuming all exciting dialogues!
