The Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) is the second largest provider of health services in Ghana with presence in 188 districts in all the 16 regions of Ghana. CHAG is the network of 344 health facilities and health training institutions owned by 33 different church denominations in Ghana. CHAG facilities are typically located in remote and deprived areas of Ghana where the government has limited or no health facilities at all. With barely 7 % of health infrastructure, CHAG facilities collectively provide 30-40 % of health services in Ghana annually with about 6 million people benefitting directly from the services CHAG provides.
