With parts of the team present, two sessions on stage and a live podcast, the Stella Futura stand at the Energy fair was well attended. The discussions revolved around the government's energy policy, profitability of batteries and how data analysis and AI can create added value in battery systems.
At the stand, industry professionals, customers and representatives from authorities gathered to talk about the energy infrastructure of the future and the role of batteries in the energy transition.
The first day of the fair began with a conversation between Jonas Jonsson, partner and one of the founders of Stella Futura, and Louise Garton, senior business development analyst, about the profitability of batteries and how the markets and players differ. It showed how the profitability of battery systems and hence income and costs depend on a number of factors. The factors that can actually be influenced are strongly affected by which players are brought into the battery project. As a developer of battery projects, Stella Futura receives a lot of data about which combination of players is most suitable, and these are chosen with the same care and precision as the choice of battery technology.
During the first day of the Energy Fair, the Stella Futura podcast ”Futurapodden” was also recorded live on stage. Stella Futura's Jonas Jonsson and Per Schlingmann met Maja Lundbäck, political adviser to Sweden’s Minister for Energy, Business and Industry, Ebba Busch, in a conversation about the government's energy policy and the importance of concentrating on energy systems rather than different types of energy. "Let Energy (stakeholders in) Sweden work" [CB1] [NB2] was one of the key sayings from the conversation, where collaboration is crucial in order to design an energy system that meets the energy needs of today and the future, according to Maja. The episode from Futurapodden with Maja Lundbäck is available here (in Swedish).
During the second and final day of the fair, Stella Futura's Ulrika Tornerefelt and Jonas Jonsson discussed with Blandine Charveriat, Chief of Staff at Power Up Technology, on a live link from Paris, how premium battery systems together with data analysis and AI can create added value in the business. By using reliable data and AI models, it’s possible to streamline and optimise the use of the battery systems, predict and plan for maintenance that extends the battery's life and thus enhances value creation over time.
Thank you to all our guests for fruitful discussions, our partners, and the interested visitors that we met at our stand during the fair!
